To make your visit even more relaxing we offer:
Hot Tub Pre-Heat
Dependant on weather, in the summer the Hot Tub takes just over an hour to warm up, as we empty, clean and purify it after every booking and the refilled water is generally around 10 degrees. Winter Guests will take around 2 hours from cold. Whilst we leave it to our Guests to enjoy heating it to the 38 degrees you will want, we do offer a pre-heat service for you at a cost of £15. Once hot, the water will remain at temperature all evening. Payment for this is by cash on arrival. Please note we need the pre-heat confirmed at the latest the day before your arrival or we cannot guarantee it.
Buckets of Logs
We can sell you the logs you need to heat the Hot Tub, and use in the fire pit and stove in Little Oaks.
These are priced at £5:00 a bucket. In the summer one bucket is enough to heat the hot tub, however winter Guests will need two, as the ambient temperature is that much lower. Return the buckets once you are done, or want additional logs during your stay.
Payment for any logs is by cash only.
Pizza Oven Fire Wood
If you want to use the Pizza Oven, the ideal is kiln dried oak - but any kiln dried wood will suffice, although it needs to be quite small. We have limited nets of kiln dried oak for this at £5:00 a net, so check with us if you plan to use it- it is expensive, you get enough to heat the oven and cook your pizza, but doesn't look a lot for the money!
Return the nets once you are done, or want additional wood during your stay.

Hens Eggs
At Hillview we have always had chickens, and they will be seen wandering around the place during your stay, with the cockerel calling at dawn. They are free range to the furthest extent, often finding themselves in the fields all around Little Oaks.
We offer 6 eggs at £2:00, and they will be at most a week from being layed - not the 4-6 weeks from the supermarket! These are considered "Farm Gate" eggs.
Payment for eggs is by cash only.
The Banquet Buddy
New for 2025 we are planning a small menu of dinners, breakfasts and snacks for our Guests enjoyment through our catering business.
It is likely to include Sunday Dinners, Continental Breakfasts, and evening dinners such as Pizza, Spaghetti Bolognese, Pie and Chips, Sausage and Mash. Whilst we develop this offering, drop us a line if you would like to use the service and we can tailor a meal for you.
